Counselor's Office

Guidance Counseling

The Counselor provides direct assistance to students with personal concerns. Students, parents and teachers are welcome to speak with the Counselor at any time with respect to the well-being of our students, including matters regarding adjustment issues and student performance. The Counselor also liaises with local and regional mental health professionals.

College Counseling

The Counselor provides guidance for students and parents throughout the college or university search process as well as assistance during the application process. The IB/DP Coordinators liaise with the subject area teachers in developing and reviewing the learning outcomes that address personal, social, moral, and vocational issues. ISPP is a College Board Testing Center. Both SAT I and SAT II are offered at ISPP several times throughout the academic year. SAT results are used by many universities around the world when making entry decisions. As such, all students are encouraged to take the SAT I in May of Grade 11, and all Grade 10 and 11 students take the PSAT in October.

Homegroup Advisory

In addition, each student will be assigned a Homegroup Advisor who will be responsible for looking after the student's academic and social progress in collaboration with the Counselor
