In addition to a variety of extra-curricular activities for students of all ages, ISPP is proud to offer a strong sports programme.

Elementary students have the opportunity to participate in sports through our After School Programme.  We are also an active member of YAPP (Young Athletes of Phnom Penh).  As a result, ISPP offers a variety of different sporting opportunities to students throughout the year.  Past activities have included football, T-ball, dance, basketball.  There is also a successful swim squad that has training twice a week and participates in many inter-school swim competitions.

Our Secondary students are encouraged to participate in Basketball, Volleyball, Football and Swimming.  ISPP participates in ISSAPP (International Schools' Sports Association Phnom Penh) against local international schools, in the aforementioned sports. Swimming is also part of our secondary programme.

In addition, ISPP is a member of the ‘Mekong River International Schools Association’ or MRISA. This organization consists of 8 schools from Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam and Laos. Under this umbrella the schools compete in 3 sports (basketball, soccer and volleyball). Teams of 10 (boys and girls) compete at junior level (grade 6-8) and senior level (grade 9-12). The tournaments occur in 3 seasons. Season 1 is Senior Volleyball and Junior Basketball. Season 2 is Senior Basketball and Junior Soccer. Season 3 is Senior Soccer and Junior Volleyball. The tournaments are a 4 day format. (Thursday and Sunday are travel days with Friday and Saturday the competition days) The host school facilitates the tournament and provides home stay for the visiting athletes.

ISPP has a swimming programme for swimmers of all levels. Detailed information about the programme can be found here:
