School Year 2018-2019


(Two Positions)

 Duties include: 

  • The employee must be able to lift and move PE Equipment which may weigh up to the statutory maximum weight for lifting by an employee.
  • Use your initiative to ensure that all PE equipment is kept in a good working condition and If any items require repair or replacement or you consider will require repair and replacement.
  • Be alert to potential problems or accidents during the school day and intervene to stop them. You must immediately advise your supervisor of the issue, the risks and what actions you have taken to mitigate against their occurrence
  • Inform the supervising teacher of any employees/students injuries which occurred outside the presence of the teacher
  • Confident and knowledgeable about the subject of PE and PE equipment
  • Provide direct instruction to students,
  • Assist in monitoring the use of resources and equipment in an efficient and economical manner
  • Be alert to potential problems or accidents and intervene to stop them
  • Assist with the dismissal of students to ensure a safe departure from school
Position requires: 
  • Have experience working for PE department or related experience
  •  Able to swim well
  • Supervise safe practice in the space and potential create/ assist in making programs for students/staffs
  • Good in written and spoken English
  • Ability to follow instructions
Be open to first aid and PE professional development training related to sport, swimming, etc


Duties include: 

  • To support the teacher in providing an effective learning environment
  • To assist the teacher with student care and management
  • To perform routine maintenance of classroom materials and equipment

 Position requires:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma – advanced education desirable
  • Must have prior experience working with children
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to assist the teacher with student care and management
