It is my pleasure to welcome you to the International School of Phnom Penh (ISPP) website.
If you are applying to enroll your child in ISPP this year, you have made the right decision. I hope you will take some time to look around our website and see for yourself what makes ISPP the international school of choice in Phnom Penh.
At ISPP, each student is empowered to reach personal and academic excellence and to grow as a responsible global citizen. Representing more than 50 nationalities, our school values and celebrates diversity, and our students are engaged in the local and global community.
Established in 1989, ISPP has grown from serving a handful of children in our first year to over 850 today, ranging from age 3 to Grade 12. Our expansive campus provides the facilities and space to enable our continued growth. We were founded as and remain a parent-governed, not-for-profit school.
Our commitment and experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme are evident from the success of our students and graduates. ISPP graduates go on to study at top universities around the world, and our alumni gather regularly to network and exchange ideas.
Our teachers are specially trained IB educators and many have specifically sought out ISPP as the place to teach because of our reputation for academic excellence and emphasis on professional development. At ISPP, your child will receive a rigorous education, based on international best teaching practices, provided by highly motivated and certified teaching professionals.
The IB programme is recognised worldwide, and so you can be reassured that the education your child receives at ISPP is portable, respected and highly valued. Another important factor is quality control. ISPP is externally authorised by the IB as well as by the Council of International Schools (CIS) in Europe and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) in the US.
Each year is an exciting year at ISPP. We continue to meet and exceed the standards set by our three external accrediting agencies; to achieve the goals of our strategic plan and to constantly review and further develop our academic programme and offerings. We will always seek ways to improve student learning, manage our resources prudently and look for areas of partnership with the local Khmer community. Community service will continue to be a mainstay of the ISPP learning environment.
As you continue exploring our website, take notice of the activities and communities that grow out of ISPP. We are more than an academic institution; we are a top-rated international community of diverse learners!
Feel free to contact me with questions you may have. If you are in Phnom Penh, please stop by our Admissions office and learn more about what we can offer your family.
The ISPP guiding statements encompass and articulate the values of ISPP. These statements, created by our communities, are regularly reviewed to ensure they exhibit the principles by which members of the ISPP community conduct themselves.
Hear from our leadership how we embody our guiding statements at ISPP.
ISPP empowers students, in a caring international environment, to achieve their potential by pursuing personal and academic excellence, and to grow as responsible global citizens who celebrate diversity.
Learning together, growing together, each making a difference.
Students develop their curiosity about the world, extend their understanding and appreciation of both shared values and cultural differences, and strive to effect positive change.
