As a part of Spotlight on the Arts, Grade 2 & 5 students shared their learning from music and art with their families on Friday. This took place in Black Box Theatre, Music Room, Innovasia and Art Studio.

Amazing musical performances by Grade 2 and the ukulele Olympics by Grade 5 blew everyone away! Two Grade 5 students played Bohemian Rhapsody by ear on their ukulele and sang a rousing rendition! There was music, there was art, it was an aural and visual extravaganza. Well done.

Grade 2 parents loved sharing their children’s learning from their Unit of Inquiry while the Grade 5 parents enjoyed finding out a bit more about PYPX from their children. Every child was intent in explaining the UN SDGs and how they connect to their learning with their teachers.

Not sure who was the proudest today – the school as art was shared, the artistic process discussed, photos taken – was it the students? Their parents? Or teachers?

Another great Spotlight on the Arts event! Just brilliant!
