ISPP Class of 2021 Graduation
Another year of amazing results from our IB Diploma Programme students – we wish all of our graduates every success!

Welcome to the 2021-22 school year to the ISPP community. Whether you’re a returning ISPP family or a newly enrolled family, we wish you the best for the year ahead.

My name is Lee Hole, I’m the new Secondary Principal and I join ISPP from the United Kingdom via an eight-year stint in Dubai. I am honoured to be joining the ISPP community and for my daughter to join the school in Kindergarten. I can’t wait to get to know you all as quickly as possible and I am excited at the prospect of working with the young people of the school.

It’s impossible to write a welcome to the new year without recognising our IB Diploma Programme (DP) students. It’s usual to applaud the results of any cohort of students but the Class of 2021 has endured challenges well beyond that of any of those that preceded them. The ISPP team did a stellar job of advocating and building a case for our students and it paid dividends with the results. Thank you to Angelique and the DP teachers for their work to ensure that ISPP’s DP students were recognised as fairly and accurately as possible.

Once again, the students have achieved above the global averages. The average score was 35 points, compared with 33 points globally. 91% of our students were full Diploma Candidates, with a pass rate of 96% (compared to 89% globally). 25% of our Diploma candidates received a score of 40 or above, compared to the global average of 9%. 38% of our candidates received Bilingual Diplomas.

Congratulations to the Class of 2021, and we wish them all the best in their next big steps as responsible global citizens.

ISPP IB Diploma Programme Results 2021
The start of the year is always a time for students to be excited, maybe a little nervous, but everyone should be eager to start a new page of their educational journal. It’s easy to highlight the Grade 6 students as they transition into Secondary school, but every year of the school is a transition and I look forward to speaking to students about their goals and intentions for the year.

The reputation of ISPP certainly resonates globally and was one of the major factors that attracted me and my family to Cambodia. A student’s voice is something that is close to my heart and, in my opinion, one of the most important facets of a successful school. I have been so impressed with The Grapevine student magazine and I can’t wait to work with students at the school to continue this great work.

I can’t wait to meet the members of the school community and I hope this is possible in person as soon as possible.

Wishing you all a wonderful academic year!

Lee Hole | Secondary Principal
